BMW X3 Service & Repair Manual: Replacing both rubber mounts for anti-roll bar mounting
Necessary preliminary work:
- Remove REAR WHEELS .
Release screws (1).
Pull off retaining bracket (2), open rubber mount (3) at slot and remove.
Installation note:
Keep retaining bracket (2), rubber mount (3) and anti-roll bar clean and free from oil and grease.
Clean rear anti-roll bar on both sides.
Position rubber mount on rear anti-roll bar.
Mount retaining bracket (2) on rubber mount (3).
Push rubber mount with retaining bracket on rear anti-roll bar to installation position and screw tight.
Removing and installing/replacing rear anti-roll bar
Necessary preliminary work:
Remove BOTH ANTI-ROLL BAR LINKS FROM ANTI-ROLL BAR.
Lower REAR AXLE SUPPORT.

Measurement tolerances:
≤ 1000 mm Â+- 1.5 mm
≥ 1000 mm Â+- 2.5 mm
