Removing and installing/replacing rear anti-roll bar

Necessary preliminary work:

  • Remove BOTH ANTI-ROLL BAR LINKS FROM ANTI-ROLL BAR.
  • Lower REAR AXLE SUPPORT.

NOTE: To simplify the graphic, anti-roll bar removal is shown on the removed rear axle.

Release screws (1).

Remove both RUBBER MOUNTS FROM ANTI-ROLL BAR.

Turn anti-roll bar (2) and remove from the side.

Suspension

Installation note:

Check both rubber mounts for damage and replace if necessary.

Keep retaining bracket, rubber mount and stabilizer clean and free from oil and grease.

REPLACING ANTI-ROLL BAR LINK FOR ANTI-ROLL BAR ON LEFT OR RIGHT

Release nuts (1); if necessary, grip at inner Torx socket.

Release screw (2).

Remove anti-roll bar link (3).

Installation note: Replace self-locking nut and screw.

Suspension

Replacing both rubber mounts for anti-roll bar mounting

Necessary preliminary work:

  • Remove REAR WHEELS .

Release screws (1).

Pull off retaining bracket (2), open rubber mount (3) at slot and remove.

Installation note:

Keep retaining bracket (2), rubber mount (3) and anti-roll bar clean and free from oil and grease.

Clean rear anti-roll bar on both sides.

Suspension

Position rubber mount on rear anti-roll bar.

Mount retaining bracket (2) on rubber mount (3).

Push rubber mount with retaining bracket on rear anti-roll bar to installation position and screw tight.
